Sideworx Connect provides expert recruitment and temporary staffing services for various industries. We are currently looking for a AP/AR Clerk to join our team in our Calgary office.
Job Duties:
- AR, AP – ensure all invoices are reviewed, entered, and processed with accuracy
- Set up and maintain vendors/customers in the accounting system
- Ensure transactions are timely and accurate
- Reconcile & monitor balances and maintain records
- Respond to inquiries and research to resolve concerns/discrepancies
- Set the standards for delivering high customer service and lead by example
- Perform work under limited supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Must possess a solid working knowledge of the subject matter
- Multi-tasking variety of tasks to meet deadlines
- Office Management & taking on tasks as required to support the admin/finance team
Qualifications:
- Experience with QuickBooks & SAP Ariba are considered an asset
- Strong working knowledge of Accounting & Excel required
- Must have min 2 years of accounting experience
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong communication/organization skills and attention to detail are a must
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to identify and research necessary information
- Ability to multi-task and handle multiple interruptions in a fast-paced environment
Position Details:
- 3 month contract position with potential to turn into long term employment for the right candidate
- Working Hours: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 8:00am to 5:00pm in person (555 4 Ave SW, Calgary, AB)
- Wages: Starting at $25/hour, dependent on experience
