Sideworx Connect provides expert recruitment and temporary staffing services for various industries. We are currently looking for a AP/AR Clerk to join our team in our Calgary office.

Job Duties:

  • AR, AP – ensure all invoices are reviewed, entered, and processed with accuracy
  • Set up and maintain vendors/customers in the accounting system
  • Ensure transactions are timely and accurate
  • Reconcile & monitor balances and maintain records
  • Respond to inquiries and research to resolve concerns/discrepancies
  • Set the standards for delivering high customer service and lead by example
  • Perform work under limited supervision in a fast-paced environment
  • Must possess a solid working knowledge of the subject matter
  • Multi-tasking variety of tasks to meet deadlines
  • Office Management & taking on tasks as required to support the admin/finance team

Qualifications:

  • Experience with QuickBooks & SAP Ariba are considered an asset
  • Strong working knowledge of Accounting & Excel required
  • Must have min 2 years of accounting experience
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong communication/organization skills and attention to detail are a must
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to identify and research necessary information
  • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple interruptions in a fast-paced environment

Position Details:

  • 3 month contract position with potential to turn into long term employment for the right candidate
  • Working Hours: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 8:00am to 5:00pm in person (555 4 Ave SW, Calgary, AB)
  • Wages: Starting at $25/hour, dependent on experience
