We're currently looking for a Accounting Clerk in our Calgary office to join our industry-leading temporary staffing team! The Accounting Clerk interacts regularly with Management and our external parties as well as other internal departments to integrate solutions that meet the company’s goals both financially and operationally.

Job Duties:

  • AR, AP – ensure all invoices are reviewed, entered, and processed with accuracy
  • Set up and maintain vendors/customers in the accounting system
  • Ensure transactions are timely and accurate
  • Reconcile & monitor balances and maintain records
  • Respond to inquiries and research to resolve concerns/discrepancies
  • Set the standards for delivering high customer service and lead by example
  • Perform work under limited supervision in a fast-paced environment
  • Training junior team members where required
  • Must possess a solid working knowledge of the subject matter
  • Multi-tasking variety of tasks to meet deadlines
  • Office Management & taking on tasks as required to support the admin/finance team


Qualifications:

  • Strong working knowledge of Accounting & Excel required
  • Must have min 5 years of accounting experience
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong communication/organization skills and attention to detail are a must
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to identify and research necessary information
  • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple interruptions in a fast-paced environment
